About Our Teachers

Lindsie Kole, a Colorado native, earned her B.F.A. in painting from the Metropolitan University of Denver. She first taught art at a an elementary school in Miami-Dade, Florida. Her specialty is oil painting, but she doesn’t have a lot of time for that these days because she runs an amazing farm and has the most gorgeous garden in East Texas. She homeschools 3 fun-loving kiddos and loves to watch them explore their land, fish, and care for their animals. She’s super excited to share her passion for art and the outdoors as she facilitates some amazing creations alongside her students.

Katy Crumpton grew up in Irving, Texas, and then had to decide between two passions for her college education: music or art. She decided to go with music, earning her B.M. in Music Education, choral emphasis. Art never took much of a backseat though, as she started raising children. With 4 boys to keep her busy, a private voice studio, and a penchant for travel, she has always looked for opportunities to dive deeper into artists and their work. Her favorite medium is pencil, colored and graphite, but she also loves to throw pottery and paint with acrylics.
